BlueCross Named One of Best Large Employers

Company makes list for ninth year; ranks among top in Tennessee

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — For the ninth year, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has been recognized on Forbes’ list of America’s Best Large Employers, earning a spot among just 700 employers nationwide included in the 2026 rankings. BlueCross is the third highest-rated Blue plan and the seventh highest Tennessee-based employer on this year’s list.

“It’s an honor to be recognized for our efforts to be an employer of choice,” said Marie Webb, BlueCross senior vice president and chief human resources officer. “Our employees share a consistent commitment to excellence in serving our members. We appreciate the work they do each day and the ways that they shape how other people and organizations view our corporate culture and benefits.”

The company’s 2026 ranking places it ahead of many highly sought-after employers, including Amazon and SC Johnson.

Forbes partnered with global research firm Statista to survey employers across the United States and compile its annual rankings. The survey was conducted anonymously, and respondents were asked whether they would recommend their employer to others and to evaluate their workplace across several key criteria, including salary, work environment, training programs, and opportunities for advancement.

The complete rankings are available on the Forbes website.
