BlueCross Names Holliday Director of Provider Data Management

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has appointed Ben Holliday as director of provider data management.

Holliday will lead a group of analysts and technicians tasked with maintaining and reporting provider information and contract data throughout all systems utilized by BlueCross. His duties will include using industry best practices in data collection, network enrollment and data governance to identify opportunities that bring value to the enterprise. Holliday will work with key executives to develop and integrate quality and process improvement strategies across all areas of the company.

Holliday has more than 15 years of reporting, data consulting and business management experience. He joined the BlueCross medical informatics team in 2012 as a business research analyst, and later served as an engagement consultant and manager. Holliday has extensive experience in data analysis and process management, as well as project design and consulting.

Prior to joining BlueCross, Holliday was business intelligence manager at General Dynamics Information Technology. Holliday’s previous experience also includes work with Coalescent Technologies Corporation as a data/information systems analyst. He served in technical support and executive logistics management roles with the Marine Corps from 2000 to 2004.

In his free time, Holliday volunteers with the Marine Corps League, whose work supports current and former Marines and their families.

Holliday earned bachelor’s degrees in business administration and computer information systems from Columbia College in Columbia, Mo., and a master’s degree in business administration from Auburn University.
