BlueCross Names Medalie Director of Major Account Management

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has selected Jonathan Medalie as director of major account management.

In this role, Medalie will oversee major and corporate account management operations and develop and maintain regional broker relationships.

Medalie most recently served with BlueCross of Idaho, where he was director of sales and account management. He was responsible for member growth and retention of individual products and group business, including major and national accounts.

Prior to working with BlueCross of Idaho, Medalie spent the previous 14 years with Anthem BlueCross and Blue Shield serving as director of sales for several different business segments across four states.

“We are excited to have Jonathan join BlueCross,” said John Maki, vice president of sales and account management for BlueCross. “With the experience he has gained working with other Blues plans, he will be able to bring new insights and perspective to our major accounts team.”

Medalie earned a Bachelor of Science in liberal sciences from the University of Evansville. He is a member of Leadership Boise 2015.
