BlueCross Promotes Paulk to Vice President of Product Strategy

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has promoted Kelly Paulk to vice president of product strategy and individual markets. In this role, she’ll lead teams in product strategy for all commercial business and have responsibility for individual and small group product lines.

Paulk joined BlueCross in 1993 and was most recently director of product strategy with responsibility for medical, dental, pharmacy, consumer driven health and private exchange products. She has also served as senior product manager, developing group medical plans and self-funded products as well as managing implementation of Affordable Care Act requirements for small, large and major accounts.

“Kelly’s guidance and oversight has been invaluable to our commercial product efforts, especially in delivering plans for the Health Insurance Marketplace,” said Henry Smith, BlueCross senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “Her experience will help us as we move forward in the individual market in providing competitively priced options for consumers.”

Paulk earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
