CHATTANOOGA – BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has appointed Marc Barclay as senior vice president of provider network management, a role he has held on an interim basis since last fall.
“Our relationships with providers are more important than ever as we find new ways to support high-quality care for Tennesseans,” said Scott Pierce, BlueCross executive vice president and chief operating officer. “We are fortunate to have Marc’s expertise and leadership to guide us in building and maintaining partnerships that best meet our members’ needs for affordability.”
In this role, Barclay will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s provider networks, including contract negotiations with hospitals, facilities and physician groups.
