CMS award rates quality, service, and member experience
CHATTANOOGA – BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BlueCross) is proud to share that its Medicare Advantage (MA) PPO plan has earned a 4 out of 5-Star Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for 2026. This means that BlueCross MA plans have earned a 4 Star Rating or higher from CMS for the last ten years.
This recognition reflects the continued commitment of BlueCross teams to deliver exceptional, high-quality service to our members across Tennessee.

Every year, CMS evaluates Medicare Advantage plans using a 5-star system based on a wide range of performance measures – including clinical outcomes, member experience, customer service, and operational efficiency. This rating is for the 2026 plan year. Ratings are compiled using survey responses, administrative data and clinical metrics.
