CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has chosen Frank Zahrobsky as director of provider programs and services for network strategy implementation.
Zahrobsky joined BlueCross in 2008 and has served in several divisions of the company. In his new role, he will lead a group responsible for managing strategic provider network initiatives and ensuring their alignment with the company’s operational and administrative projects.
“Over the past five years, Frank has effectively handled a variety of challenging assignments and demonstrated success in working with our provider partners as well as teams across our organization,” said Stacy Eiselstein, vice president of provider network operations for BlueCross. “His ability to build relationships and establish trust will enable him to effectively support a network strategy that best serves our members, providers, and group customers.”
Before joining BlueCross, Zahrobsky worked for a multinational health care advisory services practice, where he was responsible for provider network contracting engagements in several regions, including Chicago and Atlanta.
Zahrobsky earned a bachelor’s degree in health services administration from Ohio University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois. During his time with BlueCross, he has participated in the Corporate Mentoring Program and is a current member of the company’s Emerging Leaders program. He also completed the Executive Education Leadership Program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
